2019 - 2020 Michigan UP Backcountry Sledding Season
Some people ask "Why the obsession? Why stay up late wrenching on something until you figure out what is wrong with it and how to fix the problem? Why would you spend so much money on snowmobiling? It only lasts one season of the year. Why would you want to drive 6 hours one way every other weekend to ride? How can you stand being out in the cold?" Sometimes a little discomfort is good for you, constructive to your character and reminds you that you have it pretty damn good. To us, the addiction that pushes us to this constructive discomfort is backcountry snowmobiling. We ride primarily in the Upper Peninsula (UP, Yoop, ect.) of Michigan. It is some of the greatest backcountry sledding you will find in the Midwest and all the locals are awesome! Backcountry, off trail, boondocking, whatever you want to call it, we can't get enough.
