What a day! Hit some power lines coming out of Toivola in the Keweenaw (Upper Peninsula of Michigan) and man did we run into some challenges. I lost my phone for an hour and a half toward the end of the day under 8" of snow.
Sometimes you have to make the best of what you've been given. Yes the snow sucked through mid January this year in the Upper Peninsula for Backcountry Riding and Trail Riding.
Getting used to some sea level turbo setups on our mountain sleds in the Western UP of Michigan and watching your buddy fly over the bars is always priceless (happened twice in the same day).
Some people ask "Why the obsession? Why would you spend so much money on snowmobiling? It only lasts one season of the year. How can you stand being out in the cold?" Sometimes a little discomfort is good for you, constructive to your character and reminds you that you have it pretty damn good.
